Why we drink distilled water and how we make it – Part 1
Toxicity. One of the primary ways we destroy our health is through toxicity. The more I looked into water the more I realised that I have been poisoning myself every day without realising. Sure, Idrank filtered water, and bottled mineral water as opposed to tap water BUT the more I dug, the murkier the water became, literally!
So I decided the best thing for us was to get a water distiller. My research led me to one by Make Water Pure which is very powerful and produces distilled water faster than many other units. Plus they are said to have great customer service.
When I run the distiller I am shocked at the vile smelling junk left in the bottom of the distille. If I stop it early and decant the liquid then it is definitely not something you would want to drink. I smells unpleasant. Yet my liver and kidneys will have been dealing with this day in and day out, with me being until recently none the wiser.
So thankyou Welsh Water for delivery what appears to be very poor quality water to poison us with.
If you want a ditsiller this is where I got mine from. Make WaterPure.
If you use this link and purchase I will get £20 referal fee. It will not cost you a penny more.

According to them the cost is about 10 p per litre so the payback period will not be long for us.

Hi Adrian I’ve been drinking Distilled water for 10 years now. I have been doing research for just about everything healthy including Urine yes that stuff you may or may not know the benefits. It is distilled and has many benefits but that can be another video for you. Also organic vegetables and fruits juiced are also distilled. Here are some notes i had.
“Distilled water is the greatest solvent on earth. (It is) the only water that can be taken into the body without damage to the tissues. What we as scientists and the public have never realized is that minerals collected in the body from water are all inorganic minerals, which cannot be assimilated (digested) by the body. The only minerals that the body can utilize are the organic minerals (from fruits and vegetables). All other types of minerals are foreign substances to the body and must be disposed of or eliminated. Today, many progressive doctors prescribe distilled water to their patients. All kidney machines operate on distilled water.”
Dr. Allen Banik. MD, Author, “The Choice is Clear”
“When distilled water enters the body, it leaves no residue of any kind. It is free of salts and sodium. It is the most perfect water for the healthy functioning of the kidneys (83% water). It is the perfect liquid for the blood (83% water), the ideal liquid for the efficient functioning of the lungs (86% water), stomach, liver (85% water) and other vital organs. Why? Because it is free of all inorganic minerals. It is so pure that all liquid drug prescriptions are formulated with distilled water.
Dr. Paul Bragg, N.D. Ph.D., from his book: “The Shocking Truth about Water”.

My family have been drinking distilled water for almost 25 years and we’ve only experienced benefits. Prior to this, my father and I were prone to getting kidney stones from our hard tap water, and my mother had stomach ulcers. But we have not had a single recurrence since drinking distilled water. My 101 year old father, 94 year old mother , 73 year old husband, and 69 year old self have never experienced any arthritic or other old age related aches and pains. My children and grandchildren also thrive on distilled water. We have never suffered any mineral deficiency, so disagree that this is even an issue. Once our cells have absorbed the beneficial organic minerals from our food, they don’t leach them out again. But non organic minerals that our cells have rejected (because they haven’t been absorbed) can be flushed out from between our cells when we drink distilled water, thus keeping our internal bodies cleaner.
Did you know you would have to drink a bath full of mineral water to get the equivalent calcium available in a glass of carrot juice? We should not be looking to our water to supply our minerals. The minerals we need come from our food. As well as cleansing every cell in our bodies, drinking pure distilled water protects us from many hazards found in tap water – e.g. bacteria like cryptosporidium, viruses, toxins, pesticides, pharmaceutical drugs (it is said tap water has already passed through at least 7 other people and contains any drugs – like chemotherapy – that they have consumed), sewage leaks, and even radioactive particles. If you have fears about missing minerals or energy in distilled water, then just add a pinch of sea salt or Himalayan (ancient sea) salt as Adrian says, and expose your bottles of distilled water to sunlight for a few hours or store on a sunny windowsill like we do. You can buy perfectly good water distillers for very little money these days, and by making your own drinking water you will save yourself having to buy and carry heavy gallons of bottled water home from the supermarket.

Adrian I used to think R.O. / distilled was the only way to go… until we used it for aquariums = over a few months it leeched all the minerals out of the shells in the decorations, the snail shells became so thin that when they died there was no real shell left to pull out, and then the fish all died… …took a while before we figured out that the mistake we were making was the loss of minerals… Fish excrete directly out of gills. Humans excrete through kidneys = kidneys do “two passes” if you will in producing urine, toxins as re excreted with some minerals, then as urine moves along loop, the kidneys literally “reabsorb some of the components” i.e. trying to retain more of the minerals and some of the water… Depending on the individual and a LOT of other individual aspects (diet, health, digestion, supplementation, salt/sea salt consumption, etc.) = the effect of drinking R.O. versus distilled – has effects, what those effects are do vary, but should not be discounted! R.O. has the added issue of pH th as t is often not corrected if you are re refilling at automated dispensaries (around 6.0) which will increase the “demineralization” in addition to the movement of calcium into blood stream to maintain the critical & relative constant pH of blood.
Distilled can be great. However if you are not getting the “four major electrolytes” in sufficient quantity daily = you run a risk of mineral imbalances and loss. Let alone all the other “trace electrolytes” Electrolytes = Minerals. Drinking distilled definitely will help in the beginning = however in my clinical practice I have helped a lot of people that had gotten to the other end of the issue and didn’t realise that they were loosing something critical. ….yes, they were avoiding the additional toxins in tap water, and had noticed the initial improvement, but over time fatigue and increased thirst / drinking more & more often, but not feeling better & better/ “well” & many other “subtle” issues that came on typically very gradually. One of the gentle / simple methods was to have them temporarily drink “Essentia Bottled Water” for a few weeks to a month or two (longer depending on how critical other issues were also)… nearly everyone noticed improvement (aside from the slight increase in alkalinity & the “structural water” argument and of course the benefit of “Bicarbonate” can have for numerous different reasons in so many people for issues they often aren’t aware/don’t understand/refuse to accept… but also the significance of having a slight increase in the (again) “Four Major Electrolytes” the beauty of the “product” is that it is gradual / gentle replacement and roughly the amount quite a few are losing (not enough for many long term, but to bring them back to a level of “adaptive response” and “resiliency”. Even those who ate their 7 to 14 cups of veggies were low in potassium/ responded.
Eventually part of the process was to get them consuming /adding Potassium Chloride ( Celtic Sea Salt “light grey” “fine” grade Ratio of 1 part Potassium Chloride to 4 parts Celtic/Deep-Hawaiin sea salt…in water & to reach a “tuned in awareness” to know when a little more or a little less is needed as needs do vary constantly. (Keeping in mind that a general upper end on Potassium as a supplemented amount for most individuals is approximately 4,500 mg / 5,000 mg = 4.5 grams / 5 grams – when buying a 40npound bag of potassium chloride for $23 at your hardware store, it is roughly the size of small marble/additional-pencil-eraser/about as big around as the end of your pinky finger/diameter of a dime… but get a scale measure it a few times and you’ll soon have a good eyeball for it… Amount of water is about 1 liter to 1.5 liter and the idea is NOT to force it down… but add as tolerated positive -GRADUALLY. You have a living system …sure it can & has adapted to many things…support it/nourish it …don’t treat it like a machine. Care/nurture it. Magnesium is MOST critical when Potassium is not sufficient…i.e. when potassium is lost, Magnesium pours through out of you. Potassium is what helps you hold your Magnesium. Supplementing once or more per week with Magnesium Threonate/Orotate/Gluconate, etc (1/4 or more/less tablet of each depending on individuality. Calcium, Calcium becomes so much “less” of an issue … in fact basically last of concern out of the four, when the other three are prioritized and maintained in order 1. Sodium via Celtic/Deep-Hawaiin (why? Because of the additional trace minerals/electrolytes that are present in quantity) 2. Potassium Chloride 3. Magnesium (variety of forms is key) 4. Then calcium… so often, people get the cart before the horses… “not so good”
Quick note on the “sea salts” …why the emphasis on light grey/deep Hawaiin? Why no mention of pink Himalayan? Why not just say “sea salt” and leave it at that? What’ with this “sea salt snob”? Well, like so many things these days… if it says “100% something” sure, not totally a lie, however so often, it is not THE WHOLE TRUTH. What they do not have to tell you is what has been removed! And the trace minerals/trace electrolytes? Well they are HIGHLY valuable = some of them are so extremely valuable and critical for certain uses that they go by another name “rare earth minerals” …either way, they are often removed and sold for the big bucks… Get some Celtic / Deep-Hawaiin from Selinas Naturally (fine grade more versatile = coarse is awesome and it is THE TRUE “light grey” = however it is WET.- literally wet and will not grind in a salt grinder at all… a mortar & pestle sure. You’ll see/taste the difference.
As a side example the same is true with fruit juices that say 100% (the worst is those that say “from concentrate” -they are literally telling you in not so many words, we took out more than just the water, and only put back water, but we think you’re you are just a dumb consumer/useless eater and won’t notice!) Try juicing or fresh squeezing oranges and then do a side by side comparison to Tropicanas 100% And the same with yuh our favorite/best apple juice/ grape / etc… You’ll never just grab any juice off the shelf again = they aren’t healthy. Possibly the closest I have found to halfway “decent” is R.W. Knudsen ORGANIC 100% (NOT from concentrate) but still… after that Matinellis is nice… below that? I wouldn’t even drink it unless we were facing drinking some unknown bottles or other source of tap water.
Adrian part of another comment I made recently about Salt & Potassium. … Sea salt is great, but have salt. If you can, *”light grey sea salt” in the “fine” granule size – made by SelinasNaturally.com (They also have a “Deep Hawaiian” Both are very high in trace-minerals/rare-earth-minerals/trace-electrolytes = that is the part that has been removed from almost ALL so called natural sea salts there just isn’t any law requiring them to tell ya) Also Potassium Chloride when we eat a diet low in fresh vegetables and fruits and or if we are under stress we lose potassium quickly about 4.5 grams per day = 4,500 mg = about the size of a garbanzo bean or pinto bean weigh a few pieces so you have a sense of how much… if you take it/need it, you also need to take some regular/sealant with it to keep the sodium in balance with potassium… Diamond Crystal® Potassium Chloride Salt Alternative for Water Softeners 40lb at Menards® https://www.menards.com/main/plumbing/water-filtration-softeners/water-softener-salt/diamond-crystal-reg-potassium-chloride-salt-alternative-for-water-softeners-40lb/38240/p-1491891635549.htm Diamond Crystal 40 lb. As always please do your own research, thinking and draw your own conclusions.
